You guys my heart is heavy and I feel like there are so many people that need this message right now.
I’m really struggling watching and hearing how we ALL have decided to treat each other in this current moment while using excuses of our past to justify such behaviors.
Our past experiences can be used as an EXPLANATION (post realization and accountability) for reactionary response when not given adequate time to process logically OR emotional reactions from situations where your cerebral cortex in your brain has stored memory (whether you are aware or not) that transfers to the nervous systems and becomes embedded there from times that your mind/body/spirit have perceived as traumatic experiences.
The difference...
An excuse justifies the behavior and allows that particular behavior to continue... even grow and transform into more negative energy which can evolve unhealthy issues/patterns/situations on a much larger scale.
An explanation, is an understanding that comes after acknowledgment of the behavior and accountability of your actions/words with the intention to grow and do better.
If that understanding is not there, how do we truly create positive change?
